Dementia Friends Champions in the HISC office!

The Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is an initiative to help change people’s perception of dementia and help make a positive difference to those living with dementia. In September our Care Manager Chloe, and Deputy Care Manager Alisha became Dementia Friends Champions, which will enable them to lead dementia friendly sessions in the local community, and to help others understand the impact of the disease. At Home Instead Senior Care Swindon we are passionate about dementia and we are very excited for Chloe and Alisha to share their knowledge to our CAREGiver’s so we can help make a difference to our clients, as well as the wider community in Swindon. To find out more about dementia friendly communities or the dementia friends initiative please visit https://www.dementiafriends.org.uk.
