  • CAREGivers - St Albans & Harpenden

    • FLEXIBLE- PART–TIME HOURS - 16-25 hours per week
    • COMPANIONSHIP – CARE – SUPPORT
    • ST ALBANS - RADLETT - HARPENDEN & SUROUNDING AREAS

    At Home Instead Senior Care -St Albans we're different to other homecare companies as we provide ' companionship-based care'.

    Our focus is on building strong relationships with our clients and theserelationships are the foundation of the high quality care we provide each and every day.

    Our busy periods are mornings, evenings and weekends thereforeavailability within these periods is desirable.

    • Our minimum call visits time is one hour - we don't do 15 or 30 minute calls!
    • Our CAREGivers visit regular clients at regular times

  • Morning CAREGivers

    We are recruiting for morning CAREGivers to join our team, supporting clients in St Albans, Harpenden, Radlett and the surrounding areas.

    Our busiest periods are the early morning and we are looking for availability between:

    7:00am – 1:00pm

    Our CAREGivers provide companionship based care, to local clients within their own homes.

    Benefits of being a CAREGiver:

    • Minimum of 1hr visits – we don’t do 15 or 30 minute calls!
    • Our CAREGivers visit regular clients at regular times
    • Full training is given – with opportunities for ongoing career development
    • Our staff benefits include holidays, paid mileage, pension scheme and high street discount scheme
    • Our supportive office team, introduce you to all new clients and provide ongoing support

    Career development and progression are an important part area of focus for us and we sponsor our care assistants / carers through QCF level 2 training. Our mentor team support all new employees through completion of the Care Certificate and within their first 12 weeks with us.

    Key Responsibilities of a Care Assistant / Carer are:

    • Provide day to day support to our local clients, ensuring they remain independent in their own homes
    • Ensure the environment in which our clients live is safe and clean
    • Provide companionship based care and support
    • Deliver ongoing, continuity of care

    Requirements of a Care Assistant / Carer:

    • Naturally empathetic with a desire to make a positive difference
    • A real ‘people person’
    • You must live within 6 miles of St Albans and have your own car

  • Evening CAREGivers

    We are recruiting for evening CAREGivers to join our team, supporting clients in St Albans, Harpenden, Radlett and the surrounding areas. You will visit clients local to you.

    Evening periods are one of the busiest time of the day for us with clients requiring support therefore applicants need to have availability between:

    5:00pm – 9:45pm

    Our CAREGivers provide companionship based care, to local clients within their own homes. Your OWN car is essential to the role.

    • Our care assistants / carers visit regular clients at regular times
