Being a CAREGiver

Care with Home Instead is different, both for our clients and for our CareGivers. But don’t take my word for it – here’s what one of our Clients, James, and Charlotte, his Caregiver, have to say...

“I haven’t been looked after like this in years!” James told us last week. “Charlotte makes a real difference to my life. She sorts out my meals, takes me to my hospital appointments and looks out me while I’m there. And not only that, she’s always cheerful. Thanks Charlotte, for everything you do for me!"

And Charlotte seems to get as much out of James's Care as he does. “He’s the reason I get up in the morning. I really love my job, putting a smile on his face, havin a laugh with him but at the same time knowing I’m doing the right thing for him. To be honest, I don’t know what I’d do without him.”

The Recipe for Outstanding Care

At Home Instead, we believe this is recipe for outstanding Care; finding people with good hearts who really care, then carefully matching them to our clients. It’s what makes our Care truly personal and, as you’ve heard, something that can be as rewarding for the CareGiver as it is for the Client.

So, if you’d like to have a positive impact on someone's life and are looking for a part-time opportunity that’s more than just a job please get in touch. We offer full training, the chance to join a great team and competitive pay.

And if you’re looking for Care, either for yourself or a loved one, we’d love to hear from you. We promise we’ll do our very best to find a “Charlotte” for you too.

Please ring Alison on 0161 884 0562 or drop her a line at alison.broadhurst@homeinstead.co.uk

We look forward to hearing from you.

Our frail, elderly father could not remain in his own flat if it weren't for the services provided by Home Instead. Carers are reliable, punctual, caring and responsive. Not only do they take care of dad's meals and medications but they also keep his mind active and report back on his state of health (or otherwise) and allow us to keep our eye on him even though we are not close by.
