Baking our way to a better future

On Friday 25th June, we are whisking up another fantastic fundraising treat for our team to enjoy. They will be joining us to raise some (cookie) dough for Bring Joy Foundation and help us bake a better future for ageing adults in our community.

To mark the end of National Loneliness Week and hopefully the end of COVID restrictions, we are inviting CAREGivers into the office to take part in The Bring Joy Bake, to join us for a cuppa, grab a slice of cake and help us raise money for the Bring Joy Foundation.

The Bring Joy Foundation are the charity of Home Instead. Their vision is to help local community groups and organisations to bring joy and happiness into the lives of our elderly communities. They do this by funding local community events that enhance and enrich the lives of seniors to combat loneliness and sometimes isolation ensuring seniors stay fit, active, healthy and more importantly connected and contributing to their local communities.

Getting older brings many challenges but also many opportunities. The Bring Joy Foundation help to fund activities including day trips to the seaside and stepping out at a vintage tea dance to gardening and golf lessons.
