Hello, I am Vicky, owner of the Retford and Gainsborough office.
In 2014 I came across Home Instead at an Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk, where I was walking in memory of my Grandmother who died of this terrible disease. After researching Home Instead I found we shared a passion to deliver dignified, quality care. I am now proud to say I have become a member of the Home Instead family and I am committed to ensuring the delivery of high quality services through the Home Instead Senior Care model and in particular welcome the minimum set standards of one hour visits.
On a personal level I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling and gardening.
Kim Yallop - Care Manager
Hi I'm Kim and my main role as Care Manager is to oversee the day to day running of the office.
A big part of this role is to ensure the quality of the services we provide meets the high standards that Home Instead Senior Care set and make sure that the client and CAREGiver experience is the very best. Having personally cared for my Nan I expect all the care that we deliver as a team at Home Instead Retford and Gainsborough to be of a standard I would be happy for my Nan or other family members to receive. I have been working in care for most of my career, across a range of roles from personally caring for my Nan, caring in residential settings, training care staff and care management and would love to hear from you if you have any queries about care for a loved one.
Outside of Home Instead I enjoy walking my beautiful dog ‘Lucy’, reading and spending quality time with my family
Tina Kilby - CAREGiver Lead
Hello, I'm Tina and I joined Home Instead Senior Care in September 2016.
Having worked in the industry for a few years I am clear about the types of people who will make excellent CAREGivers and I make sure that during training they receive all the knowledge and support necessary to be able to do an excellent job.
In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and spending time with my family.
Suzanne Garratt - Adminstrator
Hi, I'm Suzanne and my role at Home Instead Senior Care is Office Administrator.
I have 30 years experience working front of house as adminstrator for a large corporate company and the NHS. An opportunity then arose for me to join the Home Instead team at the Retford and Gainsborough office. After researching Home Instead and their ethos I decided to apply for the position of Office Administrator. My role is to deal with the day to day adminstration and support other members of the office team. Outside of Home Instead I like to spend time with my family
Finley Thompson - Business Admin Apprentice
Hello, I’m Finley and I’ve recently joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care as Business Admin Apprentice. During the time I will be spending in my apprenticeship, I will be learning the role of Care Co-ordinator. This role requires me to take information about our CAREGivers and match their likes and interests, including hobbies, to our clients and potential clients, ensuring that all our clients receive quality care and that no visits are missed.
I’ve previously worked in different care jobs before and I really enjoyed it. This has made me realise what I want to do for my future career role and I am wanting to progress with Home Instead Senior Care.
In my spare time I enjoy going places with my family, visiting friends and going on spontaneous outings.
Lesley Green - Community Relationship Networker
Hello, I'm Lesley and my role at Home Instead is that of Community Relationship Networker.
I enjoyed and learnt a great deal about people in the care industry while caring for my mum until her passing in 2015.
I wanted to continue with my care role in some capacity as mum had left a hugh gap.
Then I had the fortunate experience of meeting Vicky at a business networking event and was introduced to Home Instead and realised they shared my idea and values of what care really means.
The rest is history........I love making a difference.
Other than Home Instead I am an Holistic Therapist at Wellbeing Blyth.
