Catherine has been with us virtually since the beginning and we couldn't be without her. Her ability to care and nurture comes naturally and was an obvious choice for SENIOR CAREGiver. 

We drew upon this to assist us in developing our wider team as Catherine was able to gently guide, encourage and grow our team through her detailed observations and supervisions. 

Luckily for us, Catherine was a registered nurse and was therefore our natural choice to be able to deliver our Basic Life Support training. Our CAREGivers leave her training sessions empowered and confident and we couldn't ask for a better start for them.

We are very fortunate to have the lovely Christine on our team as TRAINER for our new CAREGivers.

Christine joined us as a CAREGiver in February 2016 and we quickly realised just what a star she is. We made good use of her skills, knowledge, expertise and insight to observe, monitor and improve the skill-set of our current CAREGiving team through observation and supervision.

Christine embodies the ethos of Home Instead as she genuinely cares for everyone she comes into contact with. With Christine heading up our training we know that she is confidently able to impart our ethos to our new starters which means that our whole team share in our drive, passion and caring right from the outset.

Gillian is Home Instead through and through and our clients and CAREGivers love her. 

She has an instinctive way of caring and her proactive approach to the support she delivers means that we know that our clients are in the very best hands. 

Gillian stepped in to the SENIOR CAREGiver role with ease and was able to accurately advise and encourage newer members of the team through her patient observation and supervision. She really is able to impart to them what it means to be a HOME INSTEAD CAREGiver and our team are richer for having her with us.

Having been in insurance and financial services in one form or another for the majority of my career, I have worked for some large multinational organisations and also for myself. The financial crisis in 2008 was a catalyst for change for which I will be eternally grateful. Between then and opening Reigate and Tandridge Home Instead, I worked part time in project management but more importantly, as a part time CAREGiver for Home Instead in Epsom. I say more importantly because working as a Home Instead CAREGiver gave me first-hand experience of what a profound difference it can make when care and support is delivered the Home Instead way, unrushed and with kindness and compassion, building lasting meaningful relationships. It also opened my eyes to how many vulnerable people are stuck with extremely poor care and are simply unaware that there is an immeasurably better and very affordable alternative in Home Instead.

Reigate is my home town so when the opportunity arose for me to open an office here it seemed absolutely right that I should do so. I am very happy to be able to offer our local communities the unique approach to care and support that we at Home Instead can provide.

Being passionate about creating the correct circumstances for people to thrive and develop was what led me into my previous career as a primary school teacher. That ability to recognise the worth of every individual and being able to facilitate them meeting their potential what was drove me and made me smile. Ultimately, it was that which made it easy for me to join my husband in our franchise. The underlying principals and ethos I believed in whilst teaching are the same as at Home Instead and, as a consequence, easy for me to promote. I firmly believe that people have the right to meet all of their goals in life, whether they are 5 or 95 years old, and to be an intrinsic part of that is, in my opinion, a privilege.

Our Admin support....

Nancy joined us as a CAREGiver in 2015 and has been loved by our team and all of her clients alike. We were very happy to welcome her into our office team to support with our administrative duties and latterly with the tricky role of scheduling. 

Thank you for the excellent meeting.. It was very appropriate and I got to understand the Home Instead passion for making senior care personal.
