Ben Barraco  of at-home care company, Home Instead Senior Care in Redbridge and Waltham Forest, is celebrating after the company collected a national business award last week (4th July).

  Ben’s business is part of a national network of offices, specialising in the provision of non-medical care to the elderly. The company has been named as the British Franchise Association HSBC Franchisor of the Year and collected the Gold award at a glittering awards ceremony in London.

 Home Instead was recognised for business growth, the Redbridge and Waltham Forest branch is one of 141 offices located across the country, and for the work it has done campaigning for better standards in the elderly care sector and working to directly influence and shape the way care is delivered.

 Commenting on the award, Ben said: “The work we do locally brings peace of mind to our clients and their families and it is hugely satisfying to receive national recognition for our efforts. It is fantastic that this award not only recognises the success of the business but the work we are doing to improve standards of care in the sector.”

 Home Instead Senior Care was set up in the UK in 2006 and the Walthamstow office opened in 2009. The company has created 80 jobs in the local area to date and is looking to recruit 40 CAREGivers in the coming 12 months.
