About Home Instead Oxford
Decide, support and take that next step
Let us help you!
Is it a struggle supporting your loved ones? Are you constantly feeling overwhelmed and worried?
Do not worry, you are not alone. Finding additional support for your loved ones can be a difficult and challenging process both for you and for those you care about. Accepting additional care can be an incredibly emotional and turbulent time and particularly hard when you do not know which care provider to choose.
Our primary aim at Home Instead is to make this process easy and accommodating for everyone involved. We want to ensure that everyone is comfortable with the care provided, putting our clients first and making their voice count in any long-term decision making. We strive to be an extension to the family, ensuring our customers are at ease in their own homes without feeling restricted and uncomfortable.
‘Home Instead has given me my independence back’
How can we help you?
- We listen. Our care plans are created after in-depth meetings with you and your loved ones. It is important that you help with the decision making as everyone needs to feel comfortable and secure with the additional help.
- We do not rush. Our client’s needs come first and this is always reflected by the time provisions provide. This is extra time given back to you so we want to make sure we can do everything we can to help so that you feel supported and at ease.
- We create trust. It is vital that our clients trust and feel comfortable with our CAREGivers. Therefore, our staff are required to pass a DBS Check and provide six references before their contract commences
- We care. We provide additional care and support for clients who suffer from Dementia and Alzheimer’s. With such a life changing disease we also provide Family & Friends Training sessions for those caring for a loved one suffering from Dementia

In a difficult field of operation, juggling ever changing logistics and requirements I feel that Sue and her team in Oxford do a fantastic job - delivering consistently good care, managing communications across a range of people involved from family to carers to the person being cared for. They are responsive to and accommodating of changing needs and demonstrate a proactive approach to the care they deliver. A number of the CAREGivers have shown a real empathy with Dad and their help and support have contributed greatly to him being able to maintain his independence at 84 with dementia. The care we were given during my late Mum's illness and at the time of her passing was considerate and compassionate - for which we were very grateful.Clients daughter
