  • Recruitment Officer

    We're looking for a confident and competent person to join our team as a Recruitment Officer and help us build on our our reputation as the best Homecare provider in the Saddleworth & Oldham area.
    The ideal candidate will be employed between 25 - 30 hours per week.
    The Recruitment Officer (Oldham & Saddleworth) is expected to recruit, screen and hire staff for the role of CAREGiver/Mobile Carer in order to provide the highest quality service to our Clients. The Recruitment Officer is expected to work closely with the office team to ensure that CAREGivers are recruited to match the needs of the business.

    The Recruitment Officer reports directly to the Recruitment and Training Manager.
    Primary roles:

    Answer each employment enquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
    Develop and implement new recruitment strategies within the community to include advertising, career fairs and sponsored events
    Build and maintain external relationships to facilitate the recruitment of CAREGivers
    Ensure ongoing recruitment strategies are kept up to date i.e. updating jobs boards
    Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner
    Create and maintain all employment records including but not limited to NI and PAYE documentation, and all other employment related documents
    Conduct character references, criminal background (DBS) and, where applicable, motor vehicle insurance checks on all CAREGivers
    Schedule CAREGiver induction and other training including formal induction requirements

    Secondary roles:

    Monitor compliance for employment and health and safety
    Evaluate and update orientation and training materials as needed
    Support Training & Recruitment Manager when required
    Participate if required in the weekday evening On Call Rota
    Participate in quarterly CAREGiver meetings
    Additional duties as required in line with role of Recruitment Officer

    Job Type: Part-time
    Salary: £19,500.00 Per Annum/Pro Rata
