We are Here to Help

Care is where the worry ends and life begins.

We all need a home. Not merely somewhere to live, but where we can truly be ourselves; with surroundings that remind us of exactly who we are and where we belong.

So why shouldn't we be free to stay at home for as long as we can - even if age means that we can no longer look after ourselves as well as we once could?

The Home Instead approach;

  • Your loved one stays where they feel safe and surrounded by memories
  • You can feel at ease about their safety with people you trust
  • We work with you in arranging appropriate assistance for their needs
  • We'll assist you every step – from starting the conversation to making a plan

Our Heritage

To you, it's about finding a trusted partner. To us, it's personal.

The Home Instead Senior Care person centred approach to care operates in nearly 20 countries around the world from approaching 1000 offices. We are a substantial organisation but we focus on individuals in everything that we do. Our office is owned locally to ensure we are a fundamental part of our community. Our care is always bespoke, never prescriptive, always flexible and never standardised because our care is truly person centred.

When the company was formed over 15 years ago it was because of direct personal experience of the difficulty in securing good quality care for our founder’s family. When Home Instead Senior Care came to the UK over 5 years ago this situation was repeated when Trevor Brocklebank struggled to find quality care for his Grandfather.

About Care in Nottingham

As is the case with many Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners, I have personal experience of the problems that arise when dealing with ageing family members.  Finding the right help to support my 85 year old mother at home proved to be a major challenge and when the help was found, the service was poor and inconsistent.

Following a similar experience when trying to obtain help for my mother in law following a hospital stay I decided to open the Home Instead Senior Care office in Nottingham during May 2010.

I am committed to the provision of quality service that meets the needs of our Clients and is delivered with dignity and compassion. I feel strongly about the right that every individual has to receive the support they deserve, and will always make sure that the person being supported is at the centre of everything we do.

Local People

We are very proud to have a priceless team of dedicated, compassionate and reliable CAREGivers, all of whom go above and beyond the call of duty to take care of their Clients.

They are chosen for their wide ranging and diverse backgrounds and skills with the mayority having grown up in or around Nottingham. They all have good life experience and above all, empathy for vulnerable people in life.
