Chris Carter, Franchise Owner of Home Instead Norwich, has been shortlisted for the Inspirational Leader Award at the Norfolk & Suffolk Health and Care Awards 2026.

The awards celebrate individuals, teams and organisations making an outstanding contribution to health, care and wellbeing across the region. This year attracted more than 175 nominations across eight award categories, with nominees representing a wide range of organisations from health, social care and community services.

Being shortlisted for the Inspirational Leader Award is a significant achievement and reflects Chris’s commitment to delivering exceptional care, supporting our clients to live independently at home, and creating a positive environment for both clients and Care Professionals.

Chris has always been passionate about building a team that shares the organisation’s values of compassion, dignity and relationship-led care. His leadership has helped shape a service that places people at the heart of everything it does.

While this recognition is awarded to an individual, Chris is quick to acknowledge the dedication of the entire Home Instead Norwich team.

The winners will be announced at the Norfolk & Suffolk Health and Care Expo 2026, taking place on Friday 3 July 2026 at Rowley Mile Racecourse, Newmarket. Awards will be presented by TV presenter, Michaela Strachan.
