We are looking for friendly reliable people to assist our clients, so that they can live life to the full and remain independent in their own homes. It’s a home care job with a difference (we don’t do 15 minute calls!) and we place great emphasis on the relationship between our carers and clients. So as a carer with us, you will have few clients but get to know them well. Work may involve companionship, light housework cooking and outings. Some clients may also require personal care. Access to reliable transport is required. The positions are part time and include alternate weekends, weekdays, or evenings to suit you. We provide free training, which can include NVQ or City & Guilds levels and competitive rates of pay, mileage is paid too!

Some clients will need help getting up and breakfast in the mornings whereas others may need help making a simple healthy evening meal, accompanying for a walk, or assisting with bathing and washing hair. Caregiver in and around Bicester

You won't be doing short calls (minimum of 1hr often longer) so nothing will be rushed. You also won't be driving (unpaid) from place to place to place. Staff Coordinator

We are now seeking a personable staff coordinator to join our supportive and growing office near to Banbury. Candidates should have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, excellent office skills and a flexible approach to work. The role will be within the care team and focus on the support our excellent team of CAREGivers. The successful individual will also be expected to assist and support other staff members in order to provide the highest quality service as well as participating in the provision of our on call service.

Duties will include: 

  • Sign up of successful new recruits
  • Development of staff in order to meet requirements of the Care Certificate
  • Supporting CAREGivers in the field to achieve the standard of service required
  • Conducting supervisions of CAREGivers
  • Management of staff absence
  • With others, provide training to staff as needed
  • Responding to adhoc phone calls and queries to the office
  • Support of clients and families alongside the care team
  • Following Home Instead Policies and Procedures and adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Entering and maintaining accurate client and CAREGiver records in Home Instead Software.
  • Participating in out of hours “on call” rota.
  • Delivering care as needed.
