A more proactive and integrated health and social care system could save the NHS money. That's according to Anitra Camargo from our Windsor, Egham and Staines office, whose comments were featured in a Times article following the Budget announcement 2017.

At Home Instead, our person centred care is companionship based which means that we do so much more than just a list of tasks.

The CAREGivers are carefully matched to the client's needs and likes and the continuity of the same CAREGiver facilitates a deep relationship, allowing us to care holistically for our clients.

As a direct result of the CAREGiver seeing their client regularly, they are able to immediately spot any changes with the client and proactively alert the relevant Health Professional. On many instances this has prevented hospital admissions which firstly is great news for the client and their family but also reduces unnecessary spend from the NHS.

Anitra suggested that Home Instead’s approach to care is most definitely a win for both the client and the NHS.
