Sensational 17th Outstanding rating for Home Instead

he Telford office of Home Instead has received a sensational 17th Outstanding rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.

Home Instead Telford office holding their CQC Outstanding rating

This is the highest rating available from the CQC and Home Instead is the first home care provider in Shropshire to receive this accolade.

The Telford office was set up by couple, Jenny and Jason Warren in 2010. At the time they said that they wanted to make a real difference to people’s lives and this is exactly what they are doing.

In summing up the caring nature of the business, the inspectors wrote, ‘People received care and support that was delivered in a kind and compassionate way. Caregivers supported people over and above what was required of them because they genuinely cared about the people they supported.’

Clients, relatives and CAREGivers were all interviewed as part of the inspection process and were full of praise for our service in Telford.

One client told the inspectors, “They are all very good to me. They are lovely. They keep me independent, I would recommend them.” Another said, “They are brilliant. They provide everything that I need and more.”

Perhaps the loveliest aspect of Jenny and Jason’s inspection report are the repeated mentions of the team going ‘above and beyond’ to improve their clients’ quality of life. One relative told inspectors that, “They do over and above what’s expected. I can’t thank them enough.”

Commenting on this 17th CQC Outstanding rating, Managing Director of Home Instead, Martin Jones said, “We are absolutely delighted to receive this latest Outstanding rating.

“The care and compassion with which our service is delivered shines through in this inspection report. Our unique model of delivering care, which is companionship led, is clearly making a difference to people’s lives.

“We want to deliver care which improves older people’s quality of life and allows them to remain in their own homes, leading an independent life, for as long as possible. Well done to Jason and Jenny, their office team and, of course, their dedicated CAREGivers for making this a reality.”

Only 2% of homecare providers inspected by the CQC have achieved the highest Outstanding rating. We are immensely proud that the Home Instead brand holds more than any other company.
