Outstanding office where clients are treated as family

We are delighted to announce that York is our latest office to receive a top rating from industry inspectors.  The Care Quality Commission (CQC) gave a rating of ‘Outstanding’, making it the 39th office to receive this accolade.

CAREGivers told inspectors that they ‘treated their clients like their own family’, and cared for them with trust and compassion. These feelings were mutual, with inspectors hearing from clients and their families who considered their caregivers as extensions of their family.

One relative said, “My mother needs to see the same person and describes her caregiver as her third daughter.” Another told them that, “Staff paid attention to the little things that mattered to them.” These were just some of the things which demonstrated to the CQC that caregivers took the time to build extremely caring relationships with their clients.

Leadership at the York office came in for significant praise. With the CQC noting the culture was ‘exceptionally open, honest and caring’ which demonstrated to them a commitment to putting their clients and staff at the heart of everything they do.’

Luke Norbury, owner of Home Instead York, said: “We’re delighted and immensely proud to have received an outstanding rating.  Our CAREGivers are genuinely compassionate people who love what they do. We have a great team, who work closely together, we want the best, not only for our clients, but also for our wonderful CAREGivers who we value so highly.”
