New care company celebrates approval with CQC

Local company Home Instead which is based in Hemel Hempstead is delighted to announce that it has just received enthusiastic praise in an excellent inspection carried out by the CQC (Care Quality Commission).

The CQC regulate care provided by the NHS, local authorities, private companies and voluntary organisations.

Their reports give a clear indication that a company is operating as it should, and also provides a perfect opportunity to receive feedback from the people using the care service.
Home Instead delivers care to clients throughout the local area, care which allows older people to be independent and remain in their own homes for as long as possible. The company has received really positive comments in the inspection about the quality of the care they provide and for their skills and knowledge.
Care Manager, Bernie Bridges commented, “We are so thrilled to have received such fantastic feedback from our CQC inspection, it is still early days for the business but we know that what we offer is very different to the norm! Our visits are a minimum of 1 hour and we ensure that our caregivers are introduced and matched to their clients. This creates a common bond and the caregiver looks after that client on a regular basis, they are not swopped and changed dependent on which member of staff is available”.
