Local Harrogate and Knaresborough MP, Andrew Jones praised the services of local care company, Home Instead, as he formally opened their offices in Harrogate last Friday, 9th September.
The MP was joined at the event by the Deputy Mayor of Harrogate Pat Jones, as well as clients of Home Instead and their families plus representatives from local community organisations including Age UK and Alzheimer’s Society. They had nothing but praise for the dedicated, hardworking team of caregivers employed by Home Instead, all of whom enable the company’s clients to continue to live independently and securely in their own homes.
Speaking after the visit, Mr Jones said, “It was very enjoyable to visit the new facilities and meet members of staff at Home Instead who are doing a fantastic job. The franchise is providing an invaluable service to the local community and I would like to wish them success in everything they are doing for the future.”
The Harrogate office is owned and run by local Thirsk couple, Andrew and Sheena Van Parys. Commenting on the business, Sheena said, “We are passionately committed to providing the highest levels of care to our clients and, with the help of our dedicated team of caregivers that’s exactly what we are doing. They help us to make a real difference to people’s lives.”
