Home Instead welcomes new apprentice

Eighteen year old Rebecca Matthews from Bishop Stortford is the latest edition to Home Instead Senior Care in Sawbridgeworth. Rebecca joined the company as an apprentice scheduler in May this year and is now in training for an NVQ in Business Administration Level 2.

The at-home care company has employed Rebecca to help organise rotas, assist with office work and to help cover last minute calls and shift changes. As someone who has always been interested in the care industry, Rebecca studied Health and Social Care at college and is keen to continue building on her business knowledge and caring credentials.

Commenting on her new role Rebecca said: “I really like it here at Home Instead. There are only a few of us in the office but it is a friendly atmosphere and everyone has been very welcoming. I find it really interesting meeting all the caregivers and when I have completed by NVQ I would love to stay with Home Instead to become a full time scheduler.”
