Home Instead supports furry Golden Oldies

Local at-home care company Home Instead Senior Care is supporting Bath Cats & Dogs Home by encouraging people to take part in their upcoming dog show. The event will take place on 4th September and the team at Home Instead has sponsored a new category which is open to canine seniors over 7 years of age and will celebrate the “Best Golden Oldie”.

Bath Cats and Dogs Home is a local charity and one of the largest re-homing centres in the UK. Over 3,000 unwanted cats, dogs and small animals rely upon the organisation to find a new home every year and they pride themselves on finding every animal a new loving home.

As Home Instead Senior Care has long been celebrating the older generation by helping elderly people to stay independently in their homes for as long as possible, owner Lenny Elcoat decided it would be fitting to support older animals too! Lenny commented: “We take great pride in supporting our community and this open day should be a fantastic event and is a very worthy cause. Hopefully the new Golden Oldie class will encourage more people to come along and bring their pets for a fun family day out!”

The event will take place on 4th September 2011 between 11am-4pm at Bath Cats & Dogs Home, The Avenue, Claverton Down, Bath, BA2 7AZ. To book your tickets call Katie on 01225 787 334.
