Home Instead Senior Care MD joins The Care Workers Charity

We’re delighted to announce that Home Instead Senior Care’s managing director Martin Jones has joined the board of trustees for The Care Workers Charity.

The charity exists to support the welfare of current, former and retired care workers who are experiencing financial hardship. Care workers make up a significant proportion of Britain’s workforce – with around two million in the sector in total.

Martin said: “These care workers, including our CAREGivers, are our everyday heroes who look after some of the most vulnerable people in society. The Care Workers Charity is crucial therefore to ensure we look after the welfare of our care workers themselves.

“I’m thrilled to join the board of trustees and to have the opportunity to share a vision with other care industry experts on supporting our care workers, as well as bringing this back to the Home Instead network.”

Martin is also an active member of Business in the Community’s Age at Work leadership team, championing the role of older workers.
