Home Instead in Brentwood exhibited at the annual Strawberry Fair this week to meet with members of the local community.
Owner Steve Willoughby was also lucky enough to meet Mayor Joan Homes as she dropped by to visit the Home Instead stall.
Taking donations on behalf of The Alzheimer’s Society, the Home Instead team had people queuing up at their nail painting stall and had Dad’s guessing the number of sweets in the jar as an extra father’s day activity.
Steve was delighted with the turnout and commented: “Strawberry Fair is always a wonderful event and it was great to be able to take part this year, especially as we were able to raise money for a cause so close to our hearts. I am delighted that the Mayor took the time to visit our stall too. She was keen to know about the support that we provide to older local residents, to help them continue to live in their own homes for a longer period of time”.
Steve continued: “It was a great opportunity to see so many of our existing clients who popped down to say hello and we also met new members of the community and spread the word about the services we offer.”
