We are delighted to announce the latest accolade for the Home Instead after being awarded Homecare Provider of the Year in last week’s LaingBuission National Awards 2016.
LaingBuisson is the UK’s leading provider of information and market intelligence on the independent health, community care and childcare sectors. Their awards celebrate outstanding innovators and performers in the UK’s care sector.
In our submission to the judges we highlighted the many things that make Home Instead different including our one hour minimum visits, the matching of CAREGivers and clients and the focus we place on continuity of relationships, our world class client satisfaction levels and the bespoke training delivered to our CAREGivers.
We also spoke of our values which are based on ‘the Mum Test’ – where all of our clients receive the quality of care we would wish to have for a family member.
Managing Director, Martin Jones, was presented with the award, along with members of the Home Instead team, by Gyles Brandreth at a prestigious awards event in London.
After collecting the award Martin said, “We are delighted to be part of this fabulous event which celebrates the many companies who are innovating and leading the way in health and social care.

The LaingBuisson award has been presented to us in a year when we have already received many prestigious accolades. Earlier in the year we were bestowed a Queen’s Award for Enterprise for innovation in recognition of our unique model of delivering care. We were recently awarded an Inaugural Princess Royal Training Award in recognition of our outstanding training and skills development programmes.
We are also the only homecare company to have received 8 outstanding CQC ratings – the highest rating possible from the inspectors of adult social care in England. Currently only 1% of services achieve this rating.
