Home Instead Cannock newly appointed Care Manager Rebecca Steadman

Home Instead owner Frances Sayer was searching for someone with Rebecca’s background and the right credentials to head up the office as care manager. She was delighted to find Rebecca (aged 36), who lives near Cannock and has a wealth of experience having worked in the care sector for over 18 years.

Rebecca’s new role is to select the best caregivers around to join the Home Instead team and work closely with them to provide the delivery of high quality care.

This will include all relevant training to enable caregivers to serve their clients with the utmost dignity and compassion.

Starting out in her career, Rebecca worked in a residential and nursing home before spending 3 years as the deputy manager of a local residential unit. Before joining Home Instead, Rebecca worked for another senior care service where she was named Care Manager of the Year and Manager of the Quarter.

Rebecca said: “Being a caregiver is such a rewarding career. You can make a difference to other’s lives every single day. I am really excited to be joining the Home Instead Team and cannot wait to get stuck in to my new role.”

Rebecca’s caring nature does not stop with her career. Outside of work, Rebecca cares for her young family and has taken part in a variety of charity events in the local area including an 8 mile run for Age Concern.

Frances is delighted to have her on board, commenting: “Rebecca is a very welcome addition to our team as she shares our passion to support older people who wish to remain living in their own homes. Her wealth of experience has provided her with an excellent understanding of quality driven care and this fits with the Home Instead company ethos perfectly.”
