‘Big hearted’ North Devon office rated as Outstanding

Our North Devon & Exmoor office has been rated as Outstanding – just 16 months after its launch.

Home Instead Senior Care, owned by Adam Crispin, was inspected by the independent care sector regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Inspectors found that the company places ‘people at the heart of everything they do’ and praised them highly.

The North Devon Outstanding marks the 36th CQC Outstanding across the Home Instead network. We’re extremely proud of this as only two per cent of home care providers inspected by the CQC have been awarded the coveted ‘Outstanding’ rating.

Inspectors wrote: “People were put at the heart of the service and their wishes and choices were always respected. CAREGivers were extremely kind and very caring and had developed strong, trusting and respectful relationships with people.”

In the report, one client said about Home Instead, “They’re just perfect.” A relative of a client said, “Finding them was a Godsend.”

Adam, who opened Home Instead Senior Care in March 2017, said, “I am so proud of everything we have achieved and in such a short time, to receive an Outstanding rating is the icing on the cake.

“We all believe in the same ethos and values and we take great care in ensuring all our CAREGivers are matched with their clients so they share like-minded interests, helping them to keep active and living life to the full.”
