We have reached a milestone. As of this week, Home Instead holds 25 ‘outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), England’s care regulator.
Only two per cent of adult social care providers have achieved the highest ‘outstanding’ rating and we are proud to say that Home Instead holds more than any other home care provider.
This latest ‘outstanding’ accolade comes from our Northampton office, run by husband and wife team, Ray and Jo Warburton and their care manager, Christine Allen.
Ray and Jo set up the local office of Home Instead in 2011. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength and currently provides care for 90 clients and employs 80 staff.
The glowing report received by the office is further proof of the amazing care provided by our offices across the country.
Inspectors said, ‘The provider was not only committed to providing the most trusted and respected home care service in Northampton but also to work alongside other agencies to change the face of ageing.’
They also said, ‘The service demonstrated an excellent commitment to providing outstanding care, which put people at the heart of everything. The provider and registered manager led the staff to deliver person centred care, which had achieved consistently outstanding outcomes for people.’
Commenting on this latest outstanding rating, Home Instead managing director, Martin Jones said, “The inspectors’ words say it all. Well done to Ray, Jo and their fantastic team.
“The fact that we hold more outstanding ratings than any other home care provider bears testament to a shared vision and clearly stated aim to change the face of ageing.
“I could not be prouder of the work our teams across the country are doing.”
