How to age well

Growing old can bring challenges, both for the person who’s ageing and for their family. It can be frustrating for our loved ones because they can’t do everything they used to and feel like they’re losing their independence. At the same time, it might be worrying for their family as they might not be able to be there whenever their loved ones need them.

CQC Care Quality Commission

We here at HISC Newbury,Abingdon and Didcot are excited to share that we have now gained are registration with CQC. Having achieved our CQC registration allows our team to expand our services to deliver personal care, dementia care and live in services What does CQC registration mean? CQC is a regulatory body whereby providers of health and adult social care must be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). By being registered with CQC, we can demonstrate to our clients that we are providing a service that meets essential standards of quality and safety, which is an imperative part of what we do here at Home Instead Newbury, Abingdon and Didcot. As a new office we are thrilled to be able to demonstrate our expertise in Home Care and begin to support some of our clients with more advanced needs, to ensure they can remain at home safely. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing some of our community events that we are looking to organise with local like-minded businesses, keen to support our ambition to make relationship-led care the norm here in Newbury, Abingdon and Didcot. We strongly believe that this unique approach to care is fundamental for supporting the needs of our elderly community, to ensure that we can all age happily and with dignity. With CQC accreditation now in place we are able to confidently lead these projects locally and support the needs of our clients, whilst supporting our wonderful CAREGivers to be able to confidently deliver our services with expertise and passion. If you are interested in working together with us please feel free to get in touch, we would be delighted to discuss how we can collaborate to help our local community.
