St David’s Day daffodils for Swansea’s senior citizens

A blooming good time was had by all as the team from ‘at home care’ company, Home Instead Senior Care went out in their local community delivering daffodils in honour of St David’s Day on the 1st March.

Home Instead owner Ben Ruddle and his team visited each and every one of their clients with a beautiful bunch of daffodils to celebrate the patriotic holiday and spread a little springtime joy.

Care manager Alex Rosser comments, “We all had a lovely time and it was great to see the look on our clients faces when we arrived with our little surprise gift! As providers of at-home care for older people living across the area, we like any excuse to spread a little extra joy and happiness and ensure none of our clients ever feel isolated or alone.”

He continues, “We really enjoyed hearing stories from our clients of their own Welsh traditions and of St David’s Days gone by and have decided that our patriotic delivery of daffs will be our own St David’s Day tradition from now on!”
