Would you, or someone you know like to join us for a FREE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP designed for those who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other Dementia’s? Even if you don't personally care for someone, you may wish to improve your knowledge on the subject.
The Workshop will cover:
- The diagnosis
- How to manage behaviours
- Caring for yourself whilst caring for a loved one
A panel of experts with a variety of knowledge within the field of ageing has worked with Home Instead Senior Care to develop the Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias CARE training programme, including:
- Robert Stein, President and CEO of American Society on Ageing
- David Troxel, author of the “Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer’s Care”
- Tanya Marie Richmond MSW, CRCC, LCSW Chapel Hill School of Social Work.
This practical, modern & interactive approach to training will be run in two 2 hour sessions. The first of which will be on February 5th, we also have workshops planned for 3rd March and 15th April. The workshops will be held at our office in Morriston from 4 pm until 6 pm.
