Thank you, to all our Clients and Staff who kindly took part in this year’s independently managed survey, your honest and open feedback is very much welcome and appreciated.

Excellent PEAQ 2018 Client and Staff survey results will help us going forward, to target and improve our high quality care service and also our ongoing staff support, training and career development.

Some lovely comments from our client’s survey:

Always advised when visits are changed. Advised about new carers. Feel they have gone the extra mile to make my aunt's visits more meaningful i.e. taking her to places other than the lounge at home.

Always friendly helpful and efficient.

Always informed of problems / potential changes.

Is well matched to my needs. Goes the extra mile to make life easier. Takes an interest in me and arrives on time. Reliable and compassionate.

Mam's companion is a great friend who she can talk to. They get on really well.

My carer is extremely pleasant and helpful, If ever she is held up by traffic etc. the office always rings me to let me know.

The caregivers were excellent, empathetic and tot ally supportive.

Some lovely comments from our CAREGivers:

Everything is explained to you very well and they are very helpful if you don't understand anything.

I am given opportunities to have training courses of my choice and needs of the company

I have done all the training and I really enjoyed. It made me feel that I can do my job better with the training I am given.

This job is different every day so new things are dealt with all the time thus giving me greater knowledge of how to do my job correctly, someone from the office is always at the end of the phone to advise me.

Since I have started in Home instead I have always felt as a team, management are always there to listen and act on any problem or concern. I have been given every opportunity to learn and advance my caring role.

"The CAREGiver has a lovely way about her - she is very good with John; patient, friendly and always smiling"  ’’
