The Mid Devon, Torrington and Chard Team
Stewart and Yuliya Grenyer
Stewart and Yuliya are the directors of Home Instead Senior Care Mid Devon, Torrington and Chard.
Providing the highest quality of relationship based care to clients in our area is the latest commitment for the couple who moved to Devon in 2016, six weeks after getting married.
Between them they have five wonderful children, three of them already grown up. When the family get a spare moment they love to be out and about in the Devon countryside.
"We love the area and the people in our local village are so friendly and supportive. More than just a business, Home Instead is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of both the elderly clients we serve and the people we employ in our local communities"

Stewart Grenyer - Managing Director
Our Managing Director, Stewart Grenyer, has a range of professional experience having worked for 17 years in the Telecommunications sector in system engineering & production management. That was before he become a course tutor and lecturer in Manufacturing Engineering for 2 years in Further Education. After that he developed and ran a community youth project for 6 years, and then moved to Devon where he took on the role of manager of a YMCA centre. His varied and rewarding career has enabled him to develop extensive skills and experience from a variety of managerial, educational and relationship based roles.
Stewart shares Yuliya's passion for providing high quality, relationship-based care for the elderly. Around ten years ago, Stewart’s mother spent the last years of her life in a series of residential homes, and although the care was usually adequate, unlike now, there were no real alternatives. She had dementia and one of the most heart-breaking things she would often ask him would be when would she be able to go home. Stewart believes the Home Instead model of care is an exciting and life changing alternative that can make a real difference to the lives of our clients and their families; enabling our clients to live in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.
Stewart adds; “Whatever age person I work with, what I love most is the opportunity to build relationships with people that will empower them and enable them to be the best of who they are. Some of the most empowering people I’ve met have been over retirement age and I believe they have as much potential to offer and life to enjoy as the young. Home Instead Senior Care provides life enhancing opportunities for the elderly as we match our clients with Caregivers who want to build empowering and sustainable relationships. That’s why they received the Queens Award and that’s why this is the innovative model of care Yuliya and I want to promote and develop in the Mid Devon, Torrington and Chard area.”
