Many of our team draw on their own past personal experiences to encourage, assist, and stimulate our clients over a wide range of daily activities, that help improve their quality of life and help them maintain as much independence as possible.

Hello I'm Jonty and I'm the latest member of the Home Instead support crew! I am a Labradoodle and joined the family after the sudden loss of Eva in 2017. I join Coco, Sidney & Pixie as one of the office dogs.
Adam May - Director of Care
Adam is Head of Care at Home Instead Liverpool South. He has experience of working in various areas of care including with the Autistic Society, managing Assisted Living Facilities and elderly care. He is passionate about providing quality care and has a particular interest in the effects of dementia on families. Adam has gained his Level 5 Managers Award, and is qualified as a trainer in Dementia care, Medication Administration & Moving & Handling.
Adam is a family man and also has a 'whippador' (a cross between, he thinks, a whippet and a labrador) called Ellie.
Zoey Scotland - Care Manager
I have worked for Home Instead Senior Care since October 2008, firstly as a CAREGiver.
I then became Client Care Co-ordinator which involved CAREGiver spot-checks and some quality assurance visits with clients. I then moved on to Service Coordinator which involved managing and coordinating CAREGiver schedules on a daily basis and coordinating and maintaining monthly client schedules.
I was recently promoted in Oct 2018 to Care Manager where I will be welcoming all new clients to Home Instead Senior Care - South Liverpool
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, socializing, reading and going on holidays.
Sean Keh - Care Quality Compliance Lead
I joined Home Instead Senior Care in August 2016 as a Care Quality Compliance Lead. My job is to ensure that all CAREGivers that are working for us in the community are fully trained, legally compliant and above all able to do the role for which they have been assigned. I work closely with the Schedulers and the Management team to help ensure the best possible outcomes for all of our clients and CAREGivers. I have done many roles in the health care industry from Branch Management, Quality and Compliance, Service Coordinator to NHS theatre staff. I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to help a great company like Home Instead provide top class service to the members of Liverpool’s Community. In my spare time I like to travel, I love reading, movies, restaurants, can’t beat a good night out and at 31, I still have an addiction to Xbox One. I look forward to working with Home Instead for a long time to come. I am am the trainer for the City & Guilds Alzheimer's and other dementia, End of Life and Basic Life Support.
I joined the Home Instead team in May 2016.
Before joining Home Instead, I previously worked on a project in the South Liverpool area called “Wheel Meet Again”as an Administration Officer. This was a highly diverse role dealing with the over 50’s community. I feel that this may give me an advantage in my new role and I very much look forward to assisting clients families and CAREGivers alike.
In my spare time I like reading, watching TV and Socialising.
Caroline Kiely - Care Coordinator
I joined the team in March 2017 as the care coordinator. This involves the scheduling of caregiver to client rotas including skill and preference match. It can be very busy at times.
I have worked previously in care homes and domiciliary care in a variety of roles from support worker to home manager. I hold the level 5 QCF leadership and management qualification in health and social care.
I have recently moved to Liverpool from London and am really enjoying the experience of discovering both a new city and a new team here at Home Instead.
I have previously travelled quite extensively and still love a holiday when I can. I’m a fan of all things vintage (except the price tag), love a live band and still intend to learn to cook one day!
Jan Roberts - Care Quality Compliance Assistant
I joined the Liverpool South Home Instead Team in 2013. I have worked in care services for many years and am keen that we deliver the best service possible.
Before joining Home Instead I worked in administration in a day care centre for the elderly and previous to that I was the Deputy Accounting officer in the Wirral Magistrates court.
In my spare time I like reading, spending time with my family and friends and doing handicrafts. I enjoy weekends away with my husband , a trip to the cinema, walking and a nice meal out!
I am working as the client liaison and On-call Manager. I have been with Home Instead since October 2017. My job is to ensure that the clients are satisfied and happy with the level of service we provide and the CAREgivers are supporting them effectively. I achieve this by regularly doing CAREgiver Support Visits and Quality Assurance checks with our clients.
I am passionate about providing a high level of care and support. Before starting at Home Instead, I was a full time carer for my Grandparents, doing this for a number of years. I managed all aspects of their health care needs. I also have worked as a support worker for over 5 years with families and people who have Autism, learning difficulties and severe disabilities. I hold qualifications in health and social care and Learning, Support and Development.
When out of the office I enjoying taking my young daughter on little adventures! I love cooking and am not half bad at baking! I like to try my hand at crafting and upcycling. I love to sing and used to sing around a few local places years ago, mostly motown, soul and jazz.
I am looking forward to my future in Home Instead and am happy to be working for such a high quality service provider and with a great team.
Jessica Atkins - CAREGiver Liaison
I have been a member of the Home Instead team since March 2017, working as the CAREGiver Liaison and On-Call Manager. My role involves ensuring our CAREGiver’s are meeting high standards, and that our clients are happy with the service we provide. I complete regular Spot Checks and Quality Assurance visits to monitor this.
Prior to moving to Liverpool from the South Coast, I have worked in a variety of health care settings. Firstly in domiciliary care, and then specialising in Dementia care whilst working in a residential home as acting Senior.
I would never turn down a good brew (as long as it has three sugars), and a Disaronno never goes a miss. I am looking forward to my future here in Liverpool with the Home Instead team.
