The Liverpool Central and North Team
I initially started by career as a hairdresser but I knew my favourite part of the job was spending time with my elderly clients. As well as doing their hair I used to spend time chatting with them, assist with shopping and take them to appointments in my spare time. After 12 years I decided that my vocation was looking after people and wanted to do it full time. After doing my research thoroughly I joined Home Instead because I was impressed with the company ethos and spent time building up my experience as a CAREGiver before becoming a senior CAREGiver and more recently care coordinator. My current role involves handpicking CAREGivers for our clients to ensure they are well matched, scheduling in the visits and providing support to our clients and CAREGivers in the community.
Justyna is the longest serving member of the office team, having started as a CAREGiver over 4 years ago. Proving herself capable, attentive and thorough as well as being much loved and demanded by some of our most difficult to please clients, we knew she would be a great member of our team. Involved in the daily quality assurance we maintain with our clients, Justyna is a very familiar face with all of our clients and CAREGivers and a very popular character in the community.
Michael has now completed his apprenticeship with Home Instead and we are happy to have taken him on as a full time administrator, he is such a part of the team that we just couldn't let him go anywhere else! We asked him to make a quick note to tell us all a little more about him.....
I am a keen football player, and a member of various teams. I enjoy listening to music and relaxing. I went to Hugh Baird College in Bootle and studied Computing for 3 years. This is one of the reasons I was interested in the administration role at Home Instead. Another reason was when I was younger my Grandad was in Kemp Lodge nursing home and I really enjoyed going down there and talking to everyone who was part of the care home, My Nan was also diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so I understand what families go through. Home Instead has really opened my eyes and I enjoy interacting with the clients and hope to be here for many years. P.S I have the best haircut in the office and I will not tolerate anyone messing with it. I love to come second in the weekly office quiz and one day hope to actually win.
My name is Nicola I have been with Home instead senior care for 3 years as a caregiver and I am now Training Coordinator, I like to talk so this is my perfect job! I train staff new and old to give the best quality care and to ensure we have the very best staff as Home Instead Senior Care are the UKs #1 In Home Care company and this requires special staff to maintain our position. During Induction I like to share my own experiences as a CAREGiver and that seems to excite new recruits ahead of them beginning working for Home Instead. In my spare time I love spending time with my 2 young children they make me smile every day and I also tutor Spanish as I lived in Gran Canaria for 10 years and became fluent in Spanish. My passion is food and I love to cook especially baking and I am always making cakes with the children as it is great fun. I love my job and am proud to be working with such a great team.

After the sad loss of our dear ***** we feel that we must write a letter of thanks. From our first meeting in your office and your subsequent visit to meet ***** and prepare a care plan, we were confident that we were dealing with a professional and well organised company to the extent that we left her in your care whilst we went on holiday. We have to say that returning from holiday our expectations were exceeded, ***** was much improved over the two weeks having had a regular routine of food and medication reminders. She had no concerns about housework - the washing ironing and cleaning were taken care of by her carers. Over the coming months ***** looked forward to each visit and enjoyed the company and conversation - she became attached to the girls coming to visit twice each day and took a keen interest in their lives. We would like to thank you all once again for all your care and consideration given to ***** and to both of us also.Cousin of Maghull Client
