Emma Joined the team in 2014. Emma has overall responsibility for the care and management of clients. Emma also has responsibility for managing the office team. Emma loves to meet with clients and help them to maintain their independence. Emma has lots of experience and is always aiming to make sure that the CAREGivers provide an excellent service and strives to improve the services provided.

Hello, my name is Carol Lovatt, owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Leek and the Moorlands. I am also the Care Manager.

I have worked in the care sector since leaving school and am proud of the ‘hands-on’ experience that I gained firstly as a cadet nurse and then when I started my long career with Social Services, working in care homes. As the years went by I was fortunate to progress into management roles, which meant I managed care homes for older people. At the same time, I gained a social workers qualification and then an MBA which led me to a senior management role. This involved me managing the service provision for residential and day care services for adults and older people.

In 2008 I left social services and started running my own business in personal development coaching and hypnotherapy, This gave me an opportunity to become a Master Practitioner of NLP and an NLP Trainer. 

I came across Home Instead Senior Care by accident on the internet whilst searching for some training materials. It was a name that immediately struck a chord with me because some time before, I had come across one of their CAREGivers and I was particularly impressed with the care that they provided. For many years I’d dreamt of having my own care business, and on the day I found Home Instead Senior Care I made a very important decision, I decided to fulfil my dream and have my own care business. The level of care and commitment to quality is consistent with my values and passion for providing excellent services.

I’m delighted that I’ve found the perfect opportunity to combine my business skills with my love for caring for people which lets me fulfil my personal aims and beliefs.  



This group of CAREGivers represent all our CAREGivers, many of them have their own personal experiences caring for a loved one which helps them when caring for clients. They encourage, assist, and stimulate our clients over a wide range of daily activities to help improve their quality of life and maintain as much independence as possible.
