‘’I have genuine passion for diversity and equality this goes in hand with my interest in marketing, I have received a warm welcome into my new role. Having previously worked in recruitment and closely with HR I have learned to grasp the concept of compliance at the first instance and create sustainable professional relationships with colleagues and candidates. I am looking forward to further my knowledge and utilise my creativity face to face and in online recruitment. I am excited to grow with Home Instead and work as part of a great team ’’ Dounia concludes.
Dounia will be the point of contact for all those looking to join our Caregiving team and as a friendly person who is able to find the best in people she will be guiding people through their first weeks with the company.
Guy Mathew - Owner
I found Home Instead Senior Care as a consequence of investigating the options available for my great uncle Jimmy who suffered from Parkinson’s disease. Unfortunately Home Instead did not exist in Paddington four years ago and although he did receive care in the home, it left him almost less satisfied than being alone as he could not get to know his carers as they were never allowed to stay for more than 15 minutes.
I have worked in the property and construction industry for most of my career and care of the elderly didn’t used to enter my consciousness very much. However, having seen the struggle my aunt had finding suitable care for my grand-mother and then trying to improve the quality of care my great uncle received, I realised that the massive variation in their experiences made a major difference in their quality of life.
Carers try hard to do their best but are often overwhelmed with the amount of work they were expected to do and it often leads to an unsatisfactory experience all round.
I felt there had to be another way to deliver care in the home and began searching for something that would offer the chance to make a difference. When researching the domiciliary care sector it soon became clear that Home Instead Senior Care is at the forefront of delivering care in a meaningful and successful way.
The priorities are quality, trust and responsiveness – attributes that any company should emulate but far too few do. Having begun to work as part of the Home Instead family my aim is always to ensure that we at Home Instead Kensington and Chelsea always meet your expectations of quality care in the home and exceed them whenever we can!
