About Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley

Fatta and Sonia founded Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley in 2015. When Fatta’s mum Belsara suffered an stroke that made her disabled, he discovered issues with current health & social care system. So, he decided to do something about it and launched the service with aim of providing bespoke care for older and disabled people. Now, Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley is the only homecare provider to be rated outstanding by the CQC in the area.

Meet the team

  • Fatta is owner and director of Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley. Fatta founded Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley in 2015. He has a passion for improving the lives of older people and their families through Home Instead services.

  • Sonia is owner and director of Home Instead Greenwich & Bexley. She has over 25 years of working with older people. Sonia also heads our Charity Skills & Care Greenwich that went on to win the Queens Awards for Voluntary sector in 2018.

  • Diane has worked in the health and social care sector for over 27 years in domiciliary care for both the private and voluntary sector. She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. In her spare time Daine loves to do gardening and working in her allotment.

  • Halima holds BSc degree in Health & Social care and Masters in International Business. She has been studying and working in health and social care sector since she was 18, starting as a carer and worked her way-up to management.

  • Jean has over 20 years’ experience in the care sector. She completed her nursing training at Guys Hospital in 1975 and worked as nurse for number of years. She then moved to home care, started as a carer and worked her way up to management.

  • Jackie has been working with Home Instead since 2016. Initially, started as a Care Professional and worked her way-up to becoming a Recruiter. Jackie cared for her elderly parents before embarking in to the care sector. Prior to joining Home Instead she worked in retail.

  • After taking a retirement as a Deputy Head Teacher from a local school, Sandra joined Home Instead in 2018. She started as a Care Professional and worked her way up to become a Field Care Supervisor and now enjoys nurturing care pros in her team to give excellent service.

  • Fiona cared for her sister who was diagnosed with a brain tumour. While caring for her sister, she realised how much she enjoys caring for others. Fiona joined Home Instead in 2019 as a Care Professional and worked her way up and became a Field Care Supervisor.

  • Stephanie started with Home Instead as Care Professional and recently taken additional responsibility as an account & finance officer. She
    has 7 years of working in accounts and finance. Stephanie ensures that our books are balanced at all times.

  • Hello, I’m Alcus Dunn, Learning and Development Manager responsible for training. My background is in social work and I have a passion for training Care Professionals. I am a lifelong learner, and my current interests include AI (Artificial Intelligence), E-learning.
