Home Instead is committed to being represented on the world stage when it comes to shaping future policy on our ageing population.
Yesterday (27th November) our CEO, Martin Jones was in Paris representing the Global Coalition on Aging to deliver a keynote speech at a dinner which followed Day One of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Global Strategy Group meeting.
The OECD is an intergovernmental economic organisation that works to build better policies and wellbeing for everyone. The Global Strategy Group’s theme this year is ‘Ageing OECD Societies: Responding to the Challenges, Harnessing the Opportunities.”
Speaking about his attendance at the event, Martin said, “I am delighted to have the opportunity to represent the Global Coalition at this international event and speak about the many opportunities of our silver economy.
“With a rapidly ageing population we need to adopt new ways of thinking and harness the capabilities of our seniors and also consider how we support them.
“At Home Instead we like to celebrate longevity and be part of the international conversations that will help to shape the future of ageing societies.”
