We’re celebrating a top 20 CQC Outstandings for our franchise network, as two offices – Epping Forest and Salford have become the latest franchises to officially become outstanding.
This means Home Instead Senior Care continues to have THE most outstanding ratings from the Care Quality Commission out of any homecare provider.
Our 19th CQC Outstanding was achieved by Victoria Rigby who set up our Epping Forest office in 2013 and runs it with the support of her mother, Jennifer.
The inspection report for Epping makes for delightful reading. A family member who spoke to inspectors described the service as ‘a lifesaver’ and CAREGivers were described as ‘diamonds’.
Inspectors acknowledged that the team of CAREGivers in Epping Forest went ‘above and beyond what was expected of them’ and they also reported that ‘The service had gone the extra mile by considering the needs of people and their CAREGivers.’
Delighted by the news Victoria said: “Owning a franchise gave me the opportunity to work with my mum, which is wonderful as we make a great team. Mum and I are overjoyed to have been awarded an outstanding rating and delighted to be able to share the accolade with our fabulous office team and CAREGivers.”
The 20th office to join our outstanding ‘Hall of Fame’ is the Salford and Worsley franchise, less than two years after opening up the territory.
Owned by Susan Robinson and Jo Shaughnessy, the franchisees are passionate about providing quality care, having been inspired to establish the business due to a requirement within their own family.
When seeking care for Susan’s mother, they were unable to find a local service that met their needs. They came across Home Instead Senior Care and were so impressed with the organisation’s unique approach that they decided to open an office serving their community.
One of their clients told inspectors: “Receiving services from Home Instead is one of the best things I have done and I think it’s fantastic. They provide an excellent level of care and support. Whatever you want, they will do and all the CAREGivers are fantastic.” Another client rated Home Instead saying: “I find the service excellent. They are so prompt and I find them courteous, friendly and they treat me so well.”
Susan said: “We are thrilled that in less than two years, our service has been deemed to be outstanding by the industry’s regulator. We are incredibly proud of our hard working team and pleased to see their dedication recognised.”
Meanwhile Jo added: “Our inspection report is full of praise from both our CAREGivers and our clients which is wonderful. It makes us realise just what a difference we are making.”
Commenting on the latest outstanding ratings, Managing Director of Home Instead, Martin Jones, said: “Huge congratulations to our two offices that have proudly given us a top 20 CQC outstandings. We continue to have THE most outstanding ratings of any homecare provider which is testament to the fact that together our franchisees are truly realising our mission, to change the face of ageing.”
