Home Instead Senior Care in Fareham and Gosport has a requirement for an experienced Business Development / Account Manager for a newly created Care Consultant Position to start in September 2018.

 

Home Instead Senior Care in Fareham and Gosport provides companionship based support to older people to help them to remain living independently at home. Over the last few years, Home Instead have undergone a period of organic growth and now require an experienced Sales Professional for a newly created Care Consultant position.

 

As a Care Consultant you will be responsible for Driving business development in the area. You will be responsible for achieving revenue objectives and managing all enquiries for care services.

 

Working alongside the Company Directors you will play an integral role in all stages of the consultative sale process, including lead generation, appointment setting, presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.

 

You will gain experience of attending care consultations to advise, guide and sell solutions to clients and clients representatives. You will also network with key referrers providing information on Home Instead services to support a continuing pipeline for enquiries for service.

 

The efficient management of the territory is as crucial, as is planning, work ethic, drive and enthusiasm. You will develop an in depth understanding of each client and their day to day activities, looking for opportunities to secure new business, develop further business or provide additional value to existing clients.

 

This role requires shared "on call" responsibilities including evenings and weekends (on a rota basis) with the management team.

 

With a strong consultative sales background within a care related industry and a hunger to be the best at what you do, you will be seeking an exciting opportunity within a fantastic company.

The Candidate

 

Home Instead are looking for an individual who can demonstrate a successful track record of Business Development / Solution selling within the Care or Private Health sectors or a similar industry. You will be Self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and be energetic and excellent at public speaking.

 

When assessing applicants, we will also require evidence of the following:

  • Full driving licence
  • Must have previous experience in direct sales.
  • Experience of responding promptly to enquires and securing consultation appointments
  • Scheduling and managing consultations, advising clients on appropriate solutions to meet their needs
  • Possibly worked for a similar care company promoting care brands and services, answering product related queries and completing follow up calls
  • Must have Field Sales experience
  • Must be experienced in generating new business, cold calling, warm calling, B2C
  • Building a pipeline and client retention
  • Strong business development skills
  • Effective account management & development capabilities
  • Able to build strong relationships
  • Strong presentation and customer facing skills (written & verbal presentations, price negotiation and objection handling)
  • Commercial Acumen (need identification, market awareness, competitor awareness)
  • Solution sales ability
  • Consultative in approach
  • Stable career history
  • Articulate and accurate
  • Well presented with a professional appearance
  • Numerically competent
  • IT Skills (Microsoft word, excel email etc.)
  • Excellent organisational skills (Specifically territory planning, time management and working to deadlines)
