John James - Managing Director
My aim is to make Home Instead Senior Care in Fareham and Gosport the most admired local company for the services we deliver and the way we train, reward and value those who choose to help us by working with our clients.
I have personal experience of the issues families face when thinking about home care as my mother lived with dementia and was cared for at home for many years.
I want everything we do here to pass a simple test - Is it good enough for mum? Is what we are doing meeting that test because I can relate that to what I would have wanted for my mother.
I am also passionate about working in the local community to ensure we can enable people to continue to live independently, provide peace of mind to their families and friends and create local jobs for local people who share that passion.

Alison James - Director
I am thoroughly enjoying being back at work having been a full time mother to our two children when John was travelling a significant part of the year in his previous position.
My role includes managing the financial side of the business, delivering training to our CAREGivers with our Training Manager, and auditing what we are delivering from a quality perspective.
We want to be recognised for the quality of what we deliver to our clients and working with the team we are building and helping them to be the best they can be is a really exciting new challenge.
Claudia Falconer - Care Operations Manager
Claudia is a qualified social care professional with more than 10 year’s experience in the care sector in a variety of settings and in various management positions. Most recently she was Compliance Manager for a company providing services for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues in supported living settings.
She has a Registered Managers Award, a Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care Management and is a qualified NVQ assessor.
Claudia’s role with Home Instead in Fareham and Gosport is to manage and support our CAREGiver team day to day and be responsible for their ongoing professional development.
Matt Rickeard - Client Relationship Manager
Matt is a qualified social care professional with more than 10 year’s experience in the care sector working in management roles in residential care and in supporting people to remain living independently at home. He has particular experience supporting older people living with dementia.
He has a NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Leadership in Care Services and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
Matt's role with Home Instead in Fareham and Gosport is to be the first point of contact between clients and client’s families and our team to ensure that we deliver the quality service we promise.
Louise Feeley - Deputy Client Relationship Manager
Louise is a qualified social care professional with more than 6 years experience in the care sector. She has a Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care and numerous Vocationally Relevant Qualifications (VRQ's) including care planning, dementia awareness and end of life care.
Louise is part of the team meeting potential new clients, planning and arranging their support needs and ensuring we continue to meet their needs through our quality assurance processes.
Louise is the third appointment from our CAREGiver team to join the office support staff; we are committed to providing opportunities for our CAREGivers to progress and develop a career with us wherever we can.
Helene Palmer - Training and Development Manager
Helene is a qualified social care professional with more than 15 years experience in a variety of roles including management positions in the private sector and with housing associations. She has a NVQ Level 4 Diploma in Management and other professional qualifications.
Helene's role with Home Instead in Fareham and Gosport is delivering initial training to new CAREGivers and their continuous professional development to ensure that they continue to develop the skills and knowledge to support our clients.
Outside work Helene is a keen snowboarder and is involved with the running of a local trials bike club.
Leanne Garrett - Recruitment Manager
Leanne is a qualified social care professional with more than 9 year’s experience in the care sector in a variety of settings and in various management positions. Most recently she was Registered Manager for a home care provider and understands exactly what we are looking for in recruiting for our team to ensure we provide the best possible support to all our clients.
She holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and an Honours Degree from Roehampton University.
Leanne's role with Home Instead in Fareham and Gosport is to grow our CAREGiver Team to meet the increasing demand for our services.
I am thrilled that things went well with mum - I spoke to her and she is quite delighted.
In fact she said "I don't know why I have been resisting all this time".
