The overall aim of the Hampshire Dementia Action Alliance is to make a
positive difference to the quality of life for people with dementia and carers
in Hampshire by delivering on the Alliance’s action plans.
This will be done by engaging with and recruiting a large and diverse
membership to the Alliance covering all of Hampshire. The Alliance will seek to
recruit those organisations which have the potential to make the biggest
difference to the lives of people with dementia and their carers, and to
involve all sections of a community to help to achieve this.
John and his team could not have been more helpful and professional when we needed to arrange care for my 84 year old mother following an operation and hospital stay which left her very weak and needing help at home as she also looks after my 84 year old father.
Mum's carers were kind, respectful, punctual and happy to help out with anything that needed doing.
I also think they provided much needed emotional support.
It was enormously reassuring for me to know that mum was being well looked after as I live over two hour’s drive away.
I would not hesitate to engage the agency again should the need arise.Mrs W - Gosport
