Information & Resources
Home Instead has published a book called "Confidence to Care" which is full of advice, guidance and techniques to help family carers who are supporting people on their journey living with dementia.
The book was put together with professional guidance and the insights of family carers, professional carers and experts in the field of dementia. It focuses on memory and behaviour symptoms that that carers frequently need help with and carers can use it as an essential handbook to assist them in understanding the disease and to manage and help alleviate dementia related behavioural symptoms.
The book can be ordered from Amazon Confidence to Care UK Edition and all profits from the book are donated to the Home Instead Bring Joy Foundation which is charity which donates funds to organisations that help older people in the community.

Please pass on our very grateful thanks to all the lovely ladies who visited P.
He always told us how appreciative he was for the care he recieved particularly as his health began to fail.
Your smiling faces and cheery conversations helped him through the day.
Having experience of various care agencies, not only for P but also for my father-in-law, I would have no hesitation in recommending your services.
