Recruitment drive for care staff

Home Instead East Northants, based in Higham Ferrers at the Moulton College site, is now actively seeking to recruit more part time carers in the Rushden, Wellingborough and Kettering areas in particular.

Experience is not essential, although preferred, and prospective employees should have their own transport and be willing to work early mornings, late nights and weekends, for which the company will be paying premium rates.

The company's co-owner and care manager, Elaine Lomax, said: " All employees will be CRB checked and must provide six references to meet the company's very high standards of quality care that it provides." In return the company provides a full training programme.

Co-owner Mark Darnell said: " The business, which is fully accredited by the Care Quality Commission, has grown rapidly in the first few months of its operation, and there are good signs that this pleasing growth will continue as the business becomes more established in the local community. Home Instead provides a broad range of non-medical services in clients own homes to enable people to live with dignity and independently. the services include companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport to appointments, running errands and personal care, Respite can be provided for families wishing to take a break and to cover holiday periods."
