The East Hampshire and Midhurst Team
Mike Colvin - Owner
Having lived all my life in Hampshire, I am extremely proud to be in the position where I have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of individuals within this beautiful county. Having spent many years working for large corporate organisations where profit was the main focus, my role as owner now brings an extremely exciting and rewarding opportunity to make a real contribution to the local community. I will do everything I can to provide you with the support you and your family need, and would welcome your call at anytime to discuss these matters further.
I live in Four Marks with my partner Pam. We have a busy life with a young family and I also enjoy playing golf when its not raining, hockey for Alton, badminton and exploring the stunning Hampshire countryside.
Leanne Myers-Care Manager
I was absolutely delighted when I heard that I was to become part of the team at Home Instead, East Hampshire and Midhurst. The Home Instead ethos and client centred approach reflects my own beliefs and therefore being Care Manager at Home Instead I see as the ideal job.
The induction and training that I have received so far has been excellent and having worked within the Domiciliary Care Sector for over 10 years I can honestly say that I am very impressed with the quality that Home Instead Senior Care delivers to their clients.
I am very passionate about care and mental health and enjoy helping people to remain independent within their own homes.
I have a very busy home life with my husband and 2 children and my bulldog Mr Biggs, who all keep me grounded. I live in Wiltshire and enjoy nothing more than going for long walks with my family, accompanied by Mr Biggs.
Lee Hasan - Care Coordinator
I am very excited to be part of the Home Instead team where I am responsible for scheduling client visits and making sure they are provided the right level support from our team of CAREGivers.
I have worked in care for over two years supporting private clients and also with social care for vulnerable adults. Having progressed to the position of Supervisor I jumped at the opportunity with Home Instead as I was aware that they focus on providing a first-class service with the service centred around their clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and baking as well as reading and sewing. I am also enjoying the challenge of coming up with new ideas for making quilts and dress making.
Carole Haydock-Senior Caregiver
Before joining Home Instead I had previously worked in the Residential Care Sector for over 30 years, the last 10 as a Registered Manager. I took early retirement and did a little volunteer work for an end of life charity.
I was attracted to work for Home Instead having read an article in the local newspaper and really liked the quality of service described and the fact that the minimum visit time is 1 hour. My original plan was to work about ten hours a week but I enjoyed supporting our clients so much that I now work many more! I have the time to support my clients with whatever they need whether Companionship, Home Help or with Personal Care.
I have now been part of the team for over two years and more recently been promoted to the position of Senior Caregiver. This is a dual post where I still can provide one to one care to my clients but also supporting my team of Caregivers and help carry out reviews with clients and their families to ensure we are providing a very personal service which meets their specific needs.
At Home Instead everyone has a unique role to play and together we make a great team.
I would like to let you know of my total satisfaction with the service and companionship provided by the ladies on your team. They have accompanied me on my visits to the supermarket and have taken off my shoulders the onerous business of selecting the choice of what to buy. They are a pleasure to be with.Mr B Clarke, Liphook
