Shifnal Festival

Idsall School was the venue for the Family Fun Day which marked the end of a week long programme of cultural events that marked the re-instatement of Shifnal Festival in Shropshire.

The Festival was last held in 1904 so a return has been well overdue. As part of the fun and festivities Jason and Jenny, from the Telford and Wrekin office of Home Instead, were happy to talk to the local community about the services that they can offer. Families turn to Home Instead for a number of reasons, they could be looking for Senior Care including Dementia Care, support for someone with Learning or Physical disabilities, help with sufferers of Mental Health illnesses or more generally to help keep a tidy home, offer companionship or assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming and help at mealtimes.

The grand finale featured an eclectic mix of Musicians, led by chart toppers Fuzzbox as well as featuring the winning act of the festivals Talent Contest.
