Double industry award win for Home Instead!
We’re delighted to announce that we were successful in winning two awards at the Leaders in Care Awards 2019 gala dinner and ceremony held at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham.
We won Home Care Provider of the Year and were cited as the organisation that has led the pack in terms of providing outstanding care over the past 12 months, evidenced by the fact that we hold more ‘outstanding’ ratings from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) than any other provider. We were shortlisted against four other providers for this prestigious award title. The judges were impressed with our innovative model of prioritising the client’s emotional and social needs, our many other awards such as the Queen’s Award and the Princess Royal Training Award, and our willingness to embrace new technologies to support clients.
Our CEO Martin Jones secured the title of Executive of the Year – recognising his inspired leadership on a company and sector wide level. The judges recognised Martin’s work in steering the Home Instead network towards changing the face of ageing. The judging panel was also impressed with our pioneering and client-centred approach to care.
Martin comments: “I am passionate about our bespoke approach to quality home care, where the client comes first. Our CAREGivers are doing fantastic work every day and it is wonderful for the whole team that this has been recognised by this award win.
“I was also honoured to be named as Executive of the Year.”
