Moving and Handling Trainer - Sarah Smith
As well as providing outstanding care in the community, Sarah is our Moving and Handling Trainer.
In this area of her role, she delivers Moving and Handling Training to new Caregivers, as well as annual refresher training to members of our established team.
Sarah also conducts regular moving and handling assessments for our clients.
Assessments Officer - Sally MacDonald
Sally supports our Clients from our first meeting with them; when she carries out an initial assessment of their needs and wishes. She then continues to support them by regularly reviewing their ongoing and changing requirements.
Care Manager – Gillian Mansfield
Gillian manages the day to day running of our growing operations, ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission's regulations and Home Instead’s standards in all aspects of care.
Gillian is the first point of face to face contact many of our clients have with Home Intsead. Her role is to create bespoke care plans for each of our clients, based on what they tell us they want. She takes time to understand each individual and their own circumstances, only then recommending a service that suits them on their terms.
Gillian also manages the CAREgiver and office team, so has a complete overview of the unique way in which Home Instead meets our clients' needs and aspirations. Home Instead offers companionship, help around the home, personal care and specialist dementia care in and around South Derby. Deputy Care Manager / Scheduler – Amanda Parker
Amanda’s role lies at the heart of daily operations. She is responsible for making sure that all our client visits are scheduled, that everyone is briefed and there are no surprises. She also supports Gillian in the overall management of the business.
She works closely with the office and CAREgiver teams to ensure that we deliver on our promise of high quality care.
Amanda’s clear thinking and planning allow her and the team to enjoy a great relationship with clients and CAREgivers and also with client families, keeping them informed of anything of significance concerning their loved ones.
Franchise Owner - Andy Ryans
My role is to manage and grow the business, which I do on a day to day basis. I am there to support the business and ensure that we maintain and continually improve our operation to achieve the best possible outcomes for our Clients.
I have extensive commercial and operational management experience in highly customer focused environments.
I am married to Fiona and we have a nineteen year old son, Oscar, who is at Newcastle University. My interests are my family and sport.
Administrator / Field Supervisor - Rebekah Clarke
Rebekah works closely with all the office team and CAREgivers to support the smooth running of the business. She also carries out vital work in the community to support both CAREgivers and clients.
