Home Instead support Crewe Town to become Dementia Friendly

Amanda our Business Development Officer is very proud to be part of the Dementia Steering Group, set up to promote the importance of Greater Mental Health Awareness which will work towards developing Crewe into a Dementia Friendly town.

The monthly meetings are held at Bentley Motors and those who attend along with Home Instead are Local Businesses, Charities, Caring Facilities, Cheshire East Council, Community Groups and the Cheshire Constabulary.

As a Group it's members have organised different Demenita Friendly events over the past 12 months, including a Valentines Tea Dance, a Jamaican BBQ, Pre-Christmas Afternoon, a Dementia Action Alliance Summit and a Dementia Friendly Silver Screening.

To find out more on future events and to get involved contact Amanda on 01270 611 555 or amanda.stannard@homeinstead.co.uk
