Registered Care Manager - Beverley Dodd
I joined the team at Home Instead Senior Care on the 8th January 2018, and loving my new challenge.
I have worked in Heath and Social care since 1985, being employed by the NHS in various roles including, the Hospital, Assessments and Treatment, Respite and Supported Living.
I left the NHS after 17 years to join Cheshire East Council as a House Manager, supporting adults with Mental Health issues and Learning disabilities.
More recently I have managed services including Supported Living and Domiciliary Care.
As I have been in the Health Sector for many years, I have obtained a number of qualifications along the way, listed below is a selection.
Level 3 Diploma Health and Social Care, Higher Level 5 apprenticeship in Adult Social Care, Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, Human Resources Management, Managing Absence, Disciplinary Hearing, Accredited Trainer in Fire Awareness (Train the Trainer), UKHCA CQC Providing Compliance, Managing Safety (105H), Level 3 Food Safety, Deprivation of Liberty.
I am looking forward to being part of the Home Instead team and helping to maintain the very high standards of care and support we deliver to our Clients.
When I have any spare time, I love spending it with my family and also enjoy holidaying in Tenerife.
Deputy Care Manager - Chris Greig
I have been in the Care Industry for about 15 years, in various roles. In those years I have worked hard to gain the knowledge and experience to deliver quality person centred care to clients.
I have recently gained my higher level 5 and worked as a Deputy Care Manager in my last role.
I have 3 children and 1 grandson who is the apple of my eye!! I enjoy holidays abroad and reading.
I am passionate about people and strive to ensure that they are supported to maintain their dignity and independence in their own homes.
Training and Development Officer - Tracey Guilfoyle
I started to work for Home Instead at the end of January 2016.
I have many years experience working in the care sector and I am also gaining a lot of experience along the way. I am very passionate about providing a consistently high quality service for all our clients.
As the trainer I will be responsible for running new CAREGivers inductions and to ensure we maintain the highest level of training for all new and existing CAREGivers.
I will make sure CAREGivers are kept up to date with their training and are made aware of any changes.
In my spare time I love spending time with my fiancé and my family. I enjoy cooking and baking, and also listening to a variety of music, watching films and walking.
Business Development Manager - Clair Steele
I have previously worked for Home Instead between2015-2017 and left for a career change but I am now so pleased to be back with the Home Instead Team as the New Business Development Manager.
I have a 20 year career working within the health and social care sector. I have worked in a wide range of services including learning disability, mental health, elderly, prison, probation, housing, drugs and alcohol and community.
I am a qualified Person Centred Therapist and Education Welfare Officer. I have a grown up daughter who now works in law in Leicester City following completing her degree.
I enjoy a range of hobbies including walking, cooking, reading music (particularly live) and I am currently enjoying designing my garden.
Home Instead values are close to my personal work ethics. I know we offer the best quality, needs led and life changing service to our clients whilst valuing and developing our ever growing CAREGiver Team. I look forward to developing the already very successfull business and contributing to it's further growth and development.
Care Supervisor - Linda Taylor
I joined the company in May 2018 and recently joined the Senior Team in August.
I have a background in Brand Management within the private sector, developing and managing categories within a global, luxury, lifestyle Brand.
I am also qualified Angelic Reiki practitioner. It is with this that I decided to take a career change, as I love working with people.
I decided to join Home Instead, as I wanted to be part of a wonderfully passionate team, that makes a difference to peoples lives.
I am married and blessed with 2 wonderful sons, 1 beautiful daughter-in-law, and a handsome grandson. I also have a young, very pretty, British short haired blue cat named Mystique, who we adore and who defiantly wraps us around her little paw.
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and friends, attending health and fitness training, meditation and visiting the theatre.
Senior CAREGiver - Aneta Pulwer-Bajak
I am Polish and I have been living in the United Kingdom from 2002.
I have studied at The College of Economy studying Small Business Management.
I have one daughter who is grown up now and I am hoping she will start to have a family soon so I can become a Grandma.
In my spare time I love to explore new places and visit various areas. I love to return to my home land, Poland and spend time with my Father, my Sister and her family.
To relax in my spare time, I enjoy walking and swimming, I am very partial to a good book and I love listening to classical music.
I really enjoy working at Home Instead and making a difference to people’s lives. I am proud to be a member of the Senior CAREGiver Team, I love working with like-minded people who genuinely care.
Senior CAREGiver - Emily Littlewood
I joined Home Instead around 10 months ago as a CAREGiver and thoroughly enjoyed my role. I have now developed to become a Senior CAREGiver joining the Care Operations Team.
Previously I have trained to be a hairdresser, nail technician before training to become and work as a Midwife. All of these jobs gave me great satisfaction as they are all about working with people.
I live locally with my husband and 3 boys of the ages 12, 13 & 14 yrs, and if that is not enough men in my life I also have 3 male cats too. Luckily I also have one female cat.
In my spare time I enjoy watching a good film, anything from a horror to an action film and I can never resist a good box set, so I am easily pleased at Christmas Time.
I am always listening to music and I particularly enjoy Rhythm and Blues much to the frustration of my husband.
I was attracted to Home Instead as the CAREGiver role fitted in around my family lifestyle (very flexible), offered career development opportunities , is rewarding and gives you an opportunity to truly make a difference to individuals lives.
