Live In, 24 Hour and Night time Carers

Conwy and Denbighshire Closing date: 22/10/2019

As a Live In CAREGiver you will have the opportunity to live with a client for a period of time - at no cost to you - with your own private sleeping area. You will be there to help them through the day to day aspects of their week. Tasks can include washing, shopping, cleaning, medication, food prep, getting to appointments etc.

For some this could just be companionship - as sadly many older people may suffer from anxiety once they have lost someone close to them. For them, having the reassurance of someone being in the house can be of great comfort when the alternative would be trying to find a residential home. Others may require more assistance with their personal care and the like.

We want all our Clients to LIVE rather than just be alive, so helping them to remain active members of their community with days out and time with appropriate groups and pastimes is encouraged and facilitated. For this reason being a driver is an advantage but not essential with all our Clients.

The ability to communicate in Welsh would be another plus point, as some of our clients live in the more rural areas.

All of our CAREGivers are and will be thoroughly referenced and DBS checked before starting with us. For this reason we don’t ask that you have professional care experience – although some experience caring for a loved one would be very advantageous.

As close bonds form between our Clients and CAREGivers it as absolutely essential that you are reliable and have a caring nature.

Pay starts at £750 per week and we encourage people to apply that are looking for full week and part of week hours plus all the usual benefits of being employed by a large organisation.

All of our clients live in the North Wales area of Conwy and Denbighshire, including Llandudno, Rhyl, Prestatyn and Denbigh.

Please apply so we can arrange a time to discuss the vacancy further.
