Darlynn Baah - Care Manager

Hello, my name is Darlynn, I also liked to be called Lynn.

I joined Home Instead Senior Care, Chingford in July 2018 to a very warm welcoming environment.

I have been working in the care industry for some time now and have acquired skills which are essential when it comes to supporting older people to maintain a high level of independence in their own homes. Additionally, being a previous care manager, my aim is to work together with the team in ensuring our clients are being treated with dignity and respect and are receiving the best care possible.

My role also involves, ensuring that care/support services are structured in a way that provides flexibility, reliability and continuity and be actively involved in the development of robust systems and procedures.

My responsibility is to ensure that our duty of care is demonstrated through the services we provide.  As the first point of contact between clients and their CAREGivers, I will ensure they feel supported.

I am calm and cheerful. I take each day as it comes and make the best out of it.

Apart from working, I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, swimming and spending time with the family.

Paula McCarthy - Senior CAREGiver

Hi, I’m Paula and I joined Home Instead Chingford in November 2017 as a caregiver and have recently been promoted to Senior CAREGiver. I will also be working in the office with the team assisting with the running of a busy office.  I have many years of experience working in the Adult Social Care sector and thoroughly enjoy supporting those who require care and support in their elderly years.

I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, gardening and strumming my guitar, I have also been known to do the odd bit of singing!

A key part of my roll will be supporting the quality of care given by our CAREGivers ensuring we maintain the high standards of care given. I lead the ‘PEAQ’ which is, Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality, an annual satisfaction survey for clients and CAREGivers.

Rebekah Allen - Admin Support

Hi, I'm daughter to the franchise owners Nigel and Linda Allen, aka Mum and Dad.

I enjoy working in the Chingford office, it is a relaxed and warm yet professional and focused environment. My passion is baking and I bake for some of the office and networking events. The office often has freshly baked goods to enjoy as we are hard at work aiming to provide the best possible senior care service.

Nigel & Linda Allen - Franchise Owners

Nigel & Linda use their complementary skills to operate the Chingford office together.

We are very happy to be in a position where we can really make a difference to the lives of seniors in our area. We are both committed to developing strong relationships with local health & social care professionals, emergency services, community groups and all local providers and organisations that will benefit those we care for and better support their families.

We are passionate about delivering the highest quality of care, tailored to the individual needs of our clients. Having in the  past had personal experience of how difficult it can be to source quality care for our own loved ones, it was this that inspired us to join Home Instead Senior Care and share their mission of:

Changing the face of ageing’.

Nigel was born and bred in Leeds, West Yorkshire and moved to London over 30 years ago. Nigel is a highly experienced management development & business consultant and a qualified CIPD Trainer.
